A small 1970's townhouse was unified by keeping details minimal. The 7 surface lights are all Poulsen, Ekipta (3 sizes). The mismatched doors were replaced with solid wood. The clamshell baseboard was replaced with a custom trim that added elegance and the appearance of height. Vertical stone on the fireplace emphasizes height also. We opened up the circulation with cable rail at the stairs to let in light and extended the living space with a backyard barbecue.
